GOOD GIRL"


One often wonders to oneself
If animals have feelings
Are they sad or happy
Does their life have meaning?

"Tarley" wasn't just a dog
She was sent from God
To watch over each of us
Grieving over Rod.

She did her duty very well
And stood the test of time
'Til it just ran out on her
Like verse without a rhyme.

Her body told the story and
Her heart just wasn't there
And though she tried very hard
She no longer seemed to care.

Not even able to run 'round
To chase a silly cat
She was just too tired
She was just too fat.

March 20th she went to sleep
And now has left our side
The world became a darker place
The day that Tarley died.

Thanks for all the good times
You brought into our world
It broke our heart's to lose you
Rest for now: "Good Girl!!"
