ALL WOMAN
They say that fashions dying
That it's cool to be unhip
To wear sensible undergarments
Throw away the slip;
The trend is be unsexy
Sophistication's not in
That make-up should be subtle
Or it's almost a sin.
But I am here to tell you
That all of them are wrong
To be 'all woman' all the time
Is right where I belong;
I love my whole slips
Black or white or pink
I love to wear my pearls
& watch you give a wink.
Bring on my red high heels
I'll wear them with my jeans
I don't wear the latest trends
I'm not in my teens;
I like my mascara black
My lips all painted red
A french manicure
Always drops men dead.
Fishnet hose or stockings
A tightly tailored suit
A red dress above my knee
With my long black boots;
A soft angora sweater
Tight across the bust
Keeps him guessing whats beneath
Under all that lust.
All woman, all the time
Soft black cotton gloves
A hat with a black veil
All these things I love;
Bare legs in the summer
Black tights in the Fall
But on Christmas morning
Nothing on at all.
So take away your fashion
And I'll keep mine intact
'Cuz sooner or later
It will all come back;
I'll have my bell bottoms
I've kept my poodle skirt
Can't take away the woman
It's too much fun to flirt!

excellent as always
I was interested to know if you read any of the comments and respond to them on the blog?
Yes; I receive all comments for approval prior to them being published; thank you.
The site shows many hits but few comments is that because you don't except some?
I seldom receive any comments except from people I know who email me directly. Please do so:

So far, all the comments have been positive but my true friends know me well enough to know that I don't take rejection too well. lol So they're kind.....and gentle.
I don't remember the rejection part being included in truth be told. but maybe i am wrong....or Bob Segar
Bob Segar is listed on my favourite music in my Profile. Doesn't everyone have a fear of rejection?
what is fear? sometimes fear is a good thing,often it is just a resistance to change or the thought of being misunderstood by people who don't really matter any way.
Was mankind created
By an unchanging?
Or did chance forge the link
Between amoeba and man?
Does Loch Ness hold monsters,
A Blarney stone magic?
Can't life be more joyful
Instead of so tragic?
